I may not make a ton of money but I get by. A lot of friends and family consider what I do to be lazy and they don't consider it real work. This makes me mad because most of the time, I am working twice as hard as they do, sometimes even twice as many hours and yet I am the one who is getting called lazy? I also earn a lot less for what I do. I almost find it insulting when someone says the work you do from home isn't real work.

I don't get called lazy, but I do think there is a perception that I am not working because I am at home. And because sometimes I can do other things during the day and pick up the slack at night, I am sure people think my day is not busy - but I actually work very hard like you say.
