Have you ever thought about making a website to earn some money online? I've tried it before and it just took too much effort to get it up and to get people to the page. I would rather put my efforts somewhere else.

Well - that is what this forum is for me! You are right, it is a struggle to get something like that off the ground. For me, I would like the security that comes from having my own website. Similar to owning a business versus being an employee. You are not making money at it in the beginning, but it's a marathon not a sprint.

I have a few sites and I do make income from them but it isn't as much as I would like. Obviously, when you are just starting out with a site be it a blog, forum, or anything in between - it is going to take a lot of hours and work before you see a penny. You have to be patient and stick with it. It will pay off for you eventually. My blogs traffic has more than tripled just last year alone.
