How hard is it to find editing jobs? I've tried to find a couple and I found that it was pretty hard.

I've only ever done academic editing. It's not difficult to find that kind of work if you have a degree in a science or social science area. I would like to break into book editing or government editing but not sure how. I think joining an editors association might be the next step.

How many monitors do other editors use? I use 2, but I think if I went up to 3 it would be put to good use.
