If every morning your family scrambles to get out the door, try to start planning your day the night before. If you always leave holiday shopping until the last minute, try doing it early this year. A task done way ahead of deadline can be much more enjoyable and much less stressful than something left until the last minute. Take time out today to start planning for tomorrow.

Find Physical Stress Relievers

There are many things that you can do to physically help alleviate stress. Some examples include getting regular exercise, avoiding caffeine and sugar, and practicing relaxation exercises such as deep breathing and guided imagery. If you are married or have a significant other, making love can also be a great stress-buster! Do things to help alleviate your stress and you will find that your health immediately improves as well.

If you follow the above strategies you should be well on your way to having less stress in your life. The best thing about living with less stress is that it has a compound effect. As you reduce the stress in your life, you will find other ways to increase your stress-free lifestyle, because you will be relaxed and open enough to see them.
